Rockwall Market Center is a nationally-tenanted power center located 12 miles east of Dallas on I-30 at Market Center Boulevard. Tenants such as Ross, Old Navy, Pier One, Petco, OfficeMax, and Michaels have anchored this 210,000 square foot center since its completion in 2000. Shadow-anchored by Home Depot, Rockwall Market Center sits on 21 acres in the heart of the Rockwall retail corridor.
INVESTMENT
An Arrow Retail joint venture acquired the property from a well-known shopping center REIT in June, 2011. While Rockwall Market Center did not fit the REIT’s current focus on grocery-anchored centers, the property’s national tenant mix and value-add potential residing in a large box vacated by the now bankrupt Linens-N-Things made the investment fit squarely within Arrow’s investment parameters.
